2011 Long-awaited update...

Hey guys,

For those of you who still follow my blog (all 1-2 of you lol), here is a small update of some of the pieces I've done in the last 2 years. I've been quite busy with work and stuff, so I haven't done as much toys/graff/painting as I would like. To all those of you who keep up with this blog, thank you and to all the haters...well haters gonna hate lol (you make me try harder so thank you too)!

Under Pressure 2009

Yes, the biggest graffiti jam in Canada took place this year after massive fund raising and a slew of dedicated volunteers. It was my first time painting at Under Pressure, and I was very excited to finally drop a piece at a jam I have been reading about since high school days. Mother nature held up and it was a beautiful day for all the writers who were sniffing that sweet smell of montana. Thanks to all the folks involved in UP and that spider I killed after painting him blue by accident...

Merry Christmas Age Origins

Hey everyone, I just wanted to update with a quick card I drew up for Bioware's annual Christmas card this year. It features characters from the game Dragon Age drawn in a cute, lovable, cuddly adorable, (well you get the point) SD style. You can download the Holiday Wallpaper on bioware's website here:
Merry Christmas everyone and cheers to the New Year!

Writers Block 2008

Another summer is in progress, and what kind of a summer would it be without another Writers Block! Again, I managed to score the same spot as last year (it wasn't that easy), and I had a poison dart frog in mind for the piece. Big thanks goes out to Spek, Mike and the guys at for making it happen. Hope everyone's summer is hot!

Parappa's back...

Here's the updated "Rebound" version up top
Here's the Original Version from 1998!
Remember Parappa the rapper?...that addictive playstation one game that featured a cute lil puppy that made you remember intense lyrical raps about cooking? Well I heard Parappa's coming back to the Sony PSP...and being that he is one of my favourite characters...I figured I would sketch up what I think he SHOULD look like by now...notice the angry frog logo's, hoody, rolled up jeans, tooth, earing and more washed out colours...comon man its been 8 years he's grown up! Well here you "mock" box art for how I think the lil guy should look 8 years later...

f*ck it im finished...graffiti snowy nights

you know what...i said to myself...f*ck it im finishing this scene since ive done 75% of it already...i actually made it into a 20 second cinematic sequence and it is my last demo reel piece...the funny thing is i actually had fun texturing it all...on the buildings and subway there are some bombs, tags and pieces by some of the most famous graffiti writers around the world...seen, dalek, kaws, felon, buff monster, twist and many many more...including myself haha =P

i'll try and post my full demo on utube when im done so you guys can see the entire sequence =)

graffiti nights...goes 3d?

whats up guys...well im heading through the last stretch of my demo reel's completion...and what can i say...15 hour work days are making me exausted...i'm at the point where im trying to filter out things for my demo and cut it a bit shorter...a lot harder than it sounds =(

now im stuck with the decision if i should try and finish my graffiti nights cinematic 3d sequence (which means i must work 24 hour days haha)... it quits and stick with what i have done...with about 1 week left i gotta make a choice quick...what do you guys think?

Athletesworld T-Shirt Tag

well my athletesworld t-shirt should be hitting the stores sometime this summer. So be sure to keep your eyes open and pick one up if you get the chance. Athletesworld requested that i design the sales tag for the T-Shirt as well, so i jumped on the chance and came up with a few ideas...this is the final one i went with and the Athletesworld guys agreed it would best represent the here it is...a little preview of things to come =)

the last of the Monsturbia work...

well it looks like the monsturbia game for the science center is on to its last not sure if it will get done due to the work strike, but hopefully it will all work out and we can get a nice game out for the kids to play...after all i'm only doing it for the kids man!!! Here is the final textured, unwraped, skined, edgelooped mesh for the Monsturbia monster and the video game box art for the game.

this will probably be one of my last blogs for a little while, as i'm getting into the last few weeks of work on my demo reel and the 17 hour days will keep me quite busy...hopefully it will all work out though =)
